Both trained as microtechnology and microelectronics engineers, we are developing the project of giving a second life to bonding machines, the linchpins of microelectronics (soldering the gold wires that connect the legs of integrated circuits), by offering them an artistic end to their careers. Because micro-technology is constantly evolving, these industrial machines are rapidly becoming obsolete, as they are no longer sufficiently fast or profitable. We upgrade them by diverting their original, purely technical soldering function and manufacturing works "woven" from pure 24-carat gold wires. The orientation and interlacing of 25-micron gold wires enable complex patterns to be created, which are then constructed from multiple reflective facets, and come to life through the movement and play of light. These processes are patented and therefore exclusive to Wire Art Switzerland.

This technology is particularly well-suited to the watchmaking industry, where it brings dials and movement elements to life, and to the jewelry industry, where it creates delicate, elegant ornaments.
